Need to Know

There are several things you will want to do to have a good start at MCCC.

  1. If you have a disability, contact the Disability Services Office in Founders Hall (F-148) or call (734) 384-4167.
  2. Sign up for your WebPal account. This is an online system that allows students to access their records, register for classes, pay fees, and complete a number of other processes through a secure web server.
    • Go to MCCC’s website at yp0.bjjdwxw.net.
    • Click on “MYWEBPAL” at the top of the home page.
    • Select “I'm New to WebPal” to learn how to sign on to WebPal.
    • If you encounter difficulty setting up your account, please contact the Help Desk at (734) 384-4333.
  3. Access your College email account. This is the method used by the College to communicate important information such as tuition payment deadlines, waitlisting notifications, upcoming events, and so on.
    • Go to MCCC’s website at yp0.bjjdwxw.net.
    • Click on “CURRENT STUDENTS.”
    • Click on Email and follow the directions.
    • If you encounter difficulty accessing your account, please contact (734) 384-4234.
  4. Sign up for the MCCC Emergency notification system (for college closings or delays due to inclement weather or emergencies).
    • Go to MCCC’s web site at yp0.bjjdwxw.net.
    • Go to the bottom the homepage and click on “EMERGENCY/CLOSING ALERTS”
    • Go to Emergency Notification System link.
    • Click on that link and follow the directions to sign-up. 
  5. If taking a class using Brightspace (for online course instruction):
    • Go to MCCC's website at yp0.bjjdwxw.net.
    • Go to the box that reads "MyMCCC, Brightspace Login"
    • Login to Brightspace using your unique MCCC WebPal username and seven-digit student ID number for your password (or whatever password you use for your MCCC college email account). Go to MCCC’s website at yp0.bjjdwxw.net.
    • If you have questions about Brightspace or need login assistance, contact the Brightspace Help Desk at (734) 384-4328 or by email at elearning@bjjdwxw.net. The Brightspace support staff are located in the Testing Center in Room F-160 and available for on-site assistance.
